ARRIVE IN KENYA
Welcome to Nairobi! It’s often used as a jumping-off point for safari trips. On arrival into Nairobi, you will be transferred to Aberdares – The Ark. Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, iconic and yes, quirky. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Modelled after Noah’s Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you!
Enjoy lunch at Aberdare Country Club.
Post breakfast proceed for the Safari. It might be small in size but Kenya’s Aberdare National Park provides a vastly different experience to the country’s more famous savannah reserves.Created to protect the Aberdare Mountains of the Central Highlands, it comprises two ecosystems unusual to Kenya: a moorland plateau and a swathe of dense rainforest. The result is that visitors on an Aberdare safari can expect not only unique and spectacular landscapes but will also enjoy good game viewing particularly in the Salient, the eastern forested section.
ABERDARES-LAKE NAIVASHA-LAKE ELEMENTAITA
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Naivasha/Lake Elementaita and arrive in time for lunch. Spend the evening at leisure.
Lake Naivasha, Boat Safari: It’s a peep into God’s colourful creations and how they co-exist. The place is a bird photographer’s delight. How close can you get to the birdie without scaring it?
